Ending and Beginning

This is the time of year that we see the Ending and the Beginning - young people ending their various stages of education with graduation, and suddenly they and others are beginning new stages of life. This is the time for excitement and contrasting nostalgia and reflection. For some of us it is the end of paying and paying and paying for what the offspring are doing and learning - no more tuition. For some of us it is the beginning of such paying.

However this may apply to you, we offer our best wishes to you and yours. In particular we want to wish the best of everything to one of our own: Cissie and Rick's third daughter Rebecca is graduating from Miami of Ohio. Congratulations!

This means that if you buy all the fabric left on a bolt of regular price fabric you will get a 25% discount on that purchase. If you buy all the fabric remaining on a sale price bolt of fabric you will get and extra 10% discount off the original price of that fabric. Measure your finished quilt tops and bring them into the shop to find bargains for the backings. We have some really good-looking fabrics at great prices right now. Come early.

Read over the listing of classes being offered at Heirlooms & Comforts for the summer and complete your registration before May 14 to qualify for a 20% discount on the supplies listed by the instructor for her class. The 20% will apply until the end of the first session of the class you are taking. Look at the photos of the samples that have already been brought into the shop for you to see. We have posted as many of these as we have already. We are waiting for you to come in.
